Welcome to the Shorewood Hills Summer Tennis Program! The tennis program offers instruction in a progressive, focused style that emphasizes fun. Our program has something for everyone: young through no-longer-so-young; beginner through advanced. New this summer: an "interclub prep" match play class for 10-12 year olds. Interclub is fun matches against other local clubs on Fridays from 1 pm to 3 pm for players starting around age 10 who want to compete. Also new this summer: pickleball! We will kick off the season with an Open House so you can meet the staff. We'll organize an Adult Mixer Tennis Night and a Youth Tournament. Watch for details about the tennis events as the summer arrives.
General Guidelines:
- Classes start June 10 and go through August 16. Shorewood Hills Pool hosts the All City Swim Meet this summer, so NO CLASSES July 29 through August 2.

Registration: It is on a first come, first served basis. Online forms are due, with payment submitted either on-line or by check to the Village Hall (810 Shorewood Blvd. Madison, WI 53705) on or before May 24. Registration is ONLY available online. To register click on the Participant Application Form below (you should also download the 2024 Youth and Adult Classes document for a reference while completing the registration form. Please submit one registration for each class, even if one person is registering for multiple classes. If paying by check please write “Tennis - (participant’s name) on the memo line so we can match payment to your registration.

Class enrollment is capped. If a class is full, please register for a different class or time. If numbers are too low, classes may be cancelled or consolidated.

Online payments available!! Look for the link on the confirmation page after you submit your registration OR you can go to the Village website: www.shorewood-hills.org/payments to pay your tennis fees.

Unless otherwise noted, youth classes offer instruction for all skill levels.

Rainouts will be made up on Fridays at the same time. If it rains on Friday, that class will be cancelled. For rain cancellations, check our Shorewood Hills Tennis Facebook page (https://www.facebook.com/shorewoodtennis/). Follow us on Facebook to get notifications.

If you miss a class—due to illness, vacation, or other conflict—you can make it up by asking the Director which class you can attend. Please let the instructors know you are making up a session so they can keep accurate attendance.

Refunds: Participants who are unable to complete the program due to injury and who notify the Tennis Committee by the first class missed will be issued a prorated refund minus a $25 administrative fee.
