Madison Gas and Electric (MGE) is upgrading the electric system in the Village of Shorewood Hills to enhance service reliability and to provide a more efficient delivery of electricity.

This work involves replacing aging facilities and installing some new underground electric lines throughout the Village, as well as replacing or removing existing overhead power lines. Due to its scale, the project will be addressed in multiple phases. Work will continue through 2024.
