April 24, 2025: The waterfront facilities are 1/2 open now. The usual start date is May 15, but the piers and motorboat lifts have been put in early. The mooring field has not yet been installed, so sailboats will have to wait a while longer. We are officially giving the go ahead to put in you motorboats, if you have a slip at the Marina. We will provide more info on the mooring field as soon as we hear from out contractor.

Annual Marina Cleanup Day: Saturday, May 17, 2025 - 9:00 am to ~11:00 am.

 The Village has two waterfront facilities for boat storage: 1) McKenna Park (3400 Lake Mendota Drive) which has a mooring field for sailboats and inside storage for canoes, kayaks and rowing shells. 2) The "Marina" is north of Blackhawk Country Club's 16th hole (3700 Lake Mendota Drive) which has a mooring field, dock and slips for motor boats, and storage for some dinghies, canoes and kayaks.

There are no boat slips available for 2025. There are also no spots for kayak or canoe storage available. There are a few mooring spots for sailboats available this year.
