The 2024 Fourth of July Celebration!

The 4th of July celebration in Shorewood Hills is a tradition almost as old as the Village itself.

In recent years, the Fourth of July celebration has become a more community-wide effort with Village residents and friends stepping up to help with a number of the regular activities. The members of the Shorewood Hills EMS & Fire Association are the backbone of the celebration but the Association’s numbers are shrinking due to age and members moving out of the area. Help from the community will be needed to keep all the activities this year and in the future.

Unfortunately, on July 4, 2024, the weather did not cooperate and the Fireworks Display was cancelled. We were able to return the fireworks to our distributor (Spielbauer Fireworks), who will be holding them for us until next year. We appreciate the donations made ahead of the fireworks show this year. Be assured that your contribution will be acknowledged for next year's Fireworks Display too.
