Fall Computer/Electronics Recycling Event
The Shorewood Hills EMS & Fire Department Association, in conjunction with the Village’s Services Committee, will be sponsoring an e-cycle event on Saturday, September 28, 2024 from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm.
Residents of the Village may dispose of their old computers, monitors, TVs, radios and other small home electronics by bringing them to the Public Works Garage (a.k.a. the old Fire Station) at 1008 Shorewood Boulevard. Computers and most home electronics can be dropped off for FREE. Our recycling partner does charge a modest fee to recycle old monitors, TVs, copier/fax machines, dehumidifiers and window AC units because of the materials involved. We have to pass that fee along to you (ranging from $5-$60 per item based on size). We can also accept small dorm room style refrigerators, and similar items but there may be small pass-through fees for some of them as well.
Help keep potentially damaging materials out of our landfills by disposing of your old computer, TVs and other electronics on September 28.
