The purpose of the Shorewood Hills Joint Review Board (JRB) is to oversee and approve the Village's three Tax Increment Districts.

TID No.3 ranges from Marshall Court to The Boulevard building on University Avenue. TID No. 4 covers the The Lodge at Walnut Grove apartments and strip mall. TID No. 5 is an overlay district within TID No. 4 exclusively covering The Lodge II apartments.
