DPW takes care of many aspects of the Village. The most obvious ones include leaf collection, brush collection, street maintenance including snow plowing, filling pot holes, small black topping repairs, street signs, and painting cross-walks. DPW also takes care of the sewer mains, water mains, water meters, garbage disposals, and reads water meters.
We open the pool in the spring, winterize the pool in the fall, and do many of the mechanical repairs needed for operation of all the Village buildings. In the winter we setup and maintain the Ice Skating Rink.
We mow and maintain the parks. We install the Marina and McKenna Park piers yearly. DPW has many tasks that always keep us busy. Join us in our pursuit to better the quality of life in the Village.
