| Frenchy's was another popular restaurant in the village, at 3302 University Avenue. It was designed to match the filling station on the opposite corner. It was destroyed by fire in 1966 and was never rebuilt. The land on which Frenchy's stood is now a small grassy plot in front of the village hall. Postcard photo |
