| Approximately half of the University of Wisconsin hospital and clinics is within the boundaries of the Village of Shorewood Hills. This building was erected in 1974 and has been undergoing enlargment and improvement ever since. In this air photo, the Veterans Administration Hospital can be seen at the left. The establishment of these large medical facilities so close to the village has had profound effects on village character. Postcard photo |
