The Recreation Committee invites you to attend its Open House on Wednesday, November 7, 2007, from 7:30 pm to 9:00 pm, downstairs in the Village Hall.  This is a chance to gather with friends and discuss what recreational activities you would like to see offered by our Village.  Be creative:  we’d like to provide more opportunities for recreation for all age groups, from toddlers to senior citizens.

We will start the evening with refreshments and a brief explanation of the Recreation Committee’s role in the Village, how the committee operates, and the status of current and future Committee recreation programs.  Following that, we will hold an informal listening session to hear ideas from community members about how best to achieve the Recreation Committee’s mission to “facilitate multigenerational recreational opportunities in the areas of sports, appreciation of the natural environment, and the arts.”

The last half-hour of the meeting will be action focused, as we analyze our available recreational facilities, and plan for possible new programs.
