Shorewood Hills Police Department

BIKE RODEO

Each spring the Shorewood Hills Police Department hosts its annual Bike Rodeo at the Shorewood Hills Elementary School.  This year's rodeo was held on Saturday, June 4th.  For the first time, this year our department teamed with the UW-Madison Police Department for the event.  The turnout for this year's rodeo was very high and everyone had a great time!  The Bike Rodeo consists of a bicycle obstacle course, bike licensing, and dozens of prizes and handouts for children.  Also, there were police cars on display, as well as a fire truck and an ambulance.  Thanks to donations from Habush, Habush, and Rottier, we were able to provide new bike helmets to many children who were in need.  Copps Food Center also generously donated Popsicles for the event, which the children enjoyed.  See pictures from this year's Bike Rodeo below.  Click on the pictures to see their original size.  Thanks to all businesses who made donations for this year's event!
