Formerly Known as Outlot A for numerous years, Koval Woods was formally dedicated on April 27, 2002 in honor of long time volunteer forester Professor Charles Koval.

There has been a history of Oak Wilt in this area and has reared it's head again this past summer (2002) Efforts are underway to combat this pathogen.  Click on the Oak Wilt abatement link for pictures and information.
