Village of Shorewood Hills Forester/Horticulturist

The Village of Shorewood Hills selected Corey A. George in 2003 for the full-time forester position.  Corey grew up in Gays Mills, a small rural town in southwestern Wisconsin, where he took an early interest in forestry and natural resources. Corey gained a commendable amount of knowledge from early jobs in holiday tree trimming and horticulture with Star Valley Flowers. He also completed several forestry internships during his college years. Corey is a graduate of UW-Steven's Point with a bachelor's degree in Urban Forestry. In his free time, the forester enjoys camping, canoeing, competitive volleyball, and cheering on his favorite Wisconsin sports teams.
