A message from the Chief... Welcome to the Shorewood Hills Fire Department website. I am proud to be a member of this organization and lead the men and women who dedicate their time to this Department and the Village of Shorewood Hills as volunteers. I got my start here as a volunteer in1980 and have recently come around “full circle” returning to the Shorewood Hills Fire Department as Chief after many years of fire service with the North Shore Fire Department near Milwaukee, Wisconsin. I hope I can utilize the skills and experience I have learned with the North Shore Fire Department mentor and instruct the next generation of firefighters. The Shorewood Hills Fire Department is always ready to serve the residents of the Village of Shorewood Hills. We could not do this without the hard work and commitment of our volunteers, staff and Interns. We are always looking for additional residents and other interested people willing to volunteer their time as firefighters for the Shorewood Hills Fire Department. In return for giving your valuable time, we will provide you with valuable training and camaraderie.
