Shorewood Hills Fire Department
The Association

The Shorewood Hills Fire Department Association is composed of active members of the Shorewood Hills Fire Department and members who have retired from the Fire Department.   "You can quit the Department but you are an Association member for life."

The Association is the charitable arm of the Shorewood Hills Fire Department.  We host the Annual Independence Day Celebration during the July 4th weekend including a dance, carnival style games and fireworks display.  We have an Annual Cookout for our current and retired members to thank them for their time and effort over the years.  The Association also lends themselves or funds towards a Village Improvement Project each year.

All of these activities (except the cost of the fireworks themselves) are supported by our Annual Fundraising event.  A Car Wash held in conjunction with Fire Prevention Week in October each year.

The Shorewood Hills Firefighters' Association is organized under bylaws revised and approved on January 20, 1994.  The current Association Officers are:

President - Bill Byers
Secretary - David Sykes
Treasurer - David Logan

Officer "elections" are held at our Annual Emergency Services Recognition Dinner.  Donations to the Association may be made at any time.  To make a contribution or for further information contact the Shorewood Hills Fire Department, 810 Shorewood Boulevard, Madison, WI 53705 (608-267-2680 / fd@shorewood-hills.org).
