Greens pick-up begins in May.   The village will pick up weeds and clipping from baskets or piles along roadside.  NO BAGS!!

Garlic Mustard Should be BAGGED for separate pickup.

NO GRASS CLIPPINGS should be in either of these pickups.  Grass should be composed.  The quarry does have composting piles.

  • When does the Crew pick up tree limbs and/or green vegetation?
    • Answer.

Summer

  • Question?
    • Answer.

Fall

  • When are my leaves going to be picked up?
    • The Crew does their best to suck up your leaf piles as soon as possible.  They work from the east side of the Village to the west and then repeat.  They can usually make one complete circuit of the Village in a week, except during the peak time of year.  There are a number of reasons for the Crew not to suck up your leaves: There may be vehicles in the way, they may be doing only one side of the road and will return later, the truck may be full.  Click on the Leaf Picker link for more information.

Winter

  • Why didn't my road get plowed?
